I just purchased this to replace an old LG soundbar, since I just purchased a new Samsung TV. By far the LG was better, with this new one the subwoofer barely has any sound coming out of it and to even really hear it you have to put the volume on about 38-40. Really disappointed in the sound quality. Sounded good in the store probably not the same one they had connected so they could get rid of them. Very aggravated at this thing.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had the same issue at first, I had to turn on Dolby digital on my DirectTv settings and had to turn on Surround sound on my XBOX. Once I did that it worked great.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Try a different input. On my Samsung HW-M450 sound bar when I connect via bluetooth it will blast you out of the house! When I connect with HDMI it sounds about 1/2 to 1/3rd as loud... I haven't tried Toslink (optical cable) yet but I ordered a set online. I am also going to update the firmware on my soundbar, I don't know if they've addressed it there or not. But my soundbar is new so it has never been updated. Also, I did listen to the comparable LG version in the store which was also 320 watts. I had my mind made up to buy that one but decided to listen to it first. The LG had really harsh highs and the sub was basically non-existent. I did like the JBL soundbar a little better, but it was double the money.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It could be the connection (optical audio) or the video/audio quality. Try viewing a HD 1080p video or movie connected to sound bar via blue tooth for best sound quality. I have this Samsung sound bar and sub woofer connected to my Samsung UN55MU6500 Curved 4K TV via blue tooth and it sounds great.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It depends what your watching and what sound recording system was used Dts, dolby digital, etc...Not all shows or movies have surround sound.
