• As long as your TV has a digital output optical port, you are good to go! At least this is how mine connects to the TV. The subwoofer is Bluetooth connected to the sound bar.

• Works well for me with an older LG flatscreen with no HDMI out connection. The optical cable connection even lets me control off/on and volume with my DIRECTV remote.

• This will work with any TV that has HDMI or optical connection. It will only work with a Samsung TV when using Bluetooth as the connection.
