“Does this DIRECTLY connect to my television? I want to use this through my regular TV. Not with a DVD player. I purchased a sound bar before and It only was able to connect to my DVD Player.”

The sound from tv goes through sound bar. Everything goes through sound bar. My dvd player, Netflix, and regular tv does too I don't use my tv speakers at all. Hope that helps.
