• This would depend on your own tv settings. My LG tv has that option and they sound great together.

• Yes, you can through the analog/headphone jack. You will set the analog jack to variable (to control volume of the sound bar with the TV remote). You will turn speaker to "TV on". In some TV's this MAY create a reverb from a bit of delay to the soundbar.

• Your TV speakers should be turned all the way down or off when you use a separate sound system such as a soundbar. Using them with the soundbar may cause echoes and the TV speakers do nothing to improve the sound.
