Trying to hook it up but lost my instructions null

The speaker connects to your tv using the enclosed optical digital cable. There are no old school, RCA jacks of red and white audio hookup, so your tv or cable box needs to have the little square optical hookup. The square only aligns in the jack one way so don't try forcing the plug in if you're not used to this type of connection. Then just plug in the power. That's it.
