Yes, I have a 55 inch LG and it works very well.

Easy hookup. Unit comes with an optical cable. Hook it up to back of soundbar and into the optical port of your LG Tv. Great sound. Wireless subwoofer works great.

Yeah, it works really well. I asked the manager at the Irvine location and he said this particular sound bar was better than the LG sound bar, if that was your other option. I've only had it for about 2 months and it works great. Side note: The only thing I would caution is having a hidden area for the speaker system, we did and its next to the sofa but not visible. (initially buying it, I didn't know how it would look or even sound) Having it close to where you will be sitting makes a world of a difference. (you really hear the full base and surround sound feel) Hope that helps.
