• I doubt it. I can't quite get it to work with my older, 2015 Samsung TVs (its either use the remote for volume or don't use it, and there is a lag between TV speaker and this speaker that I can't quite fix with the adjustments on the sound bar). So, maybe its not for "older" "smart" TVs.

• The soundbar connects by optical audio so check the back of your tv and if you see one, you should be good.
