Does not work with my Samsung 58 inch TV (2019). I don't think your older TV is blue tooth capable. My TV would not even recognize the sound bar with a wired digital audio connection: I did get audio signal from the sound bar but could not control it via TV remote or sound bar remote. The sound bar is not HDMI capable so I would look at other option.

Check the back of your TV or consult the user manual if needed to determine if your TV features a digital optical audio output for compatibility with this soundbar. ^Tim
