“Is there a power cord coming off the back of the sound bar or is it battery powered (truly wireless)?”

• Hi DSJ50! Both the soundbar and the sub will require a power cable to be connected to a nearby outlet. The wireless description of the system refers to the connection between the soundbar and subwoofer. Once both the soundbar and subwoofer are plugged in and powered, the sub for the HW-A430 will wirelessly connect to the soundbar eliminating the need for complicated setup or wires running from the sub to the soundbar. ^Tim

• What if that base speaker has red light on in back n don’t play any more what’s wrong wit it

• fact: power cords to each respective unit as well as in input (preferably CEC or ARC HDMI, which I hope this has. IF NOT, RUN!) is a normal integration technique proven to reliably deliver the best results and not considered "complicated" or "like having to wash your hands after using the bathroom", or "applying the breaks at red lights", annoying, and/or cumbersome..
