QuestionWe recently purchased the Samsung HW-T550 2.1ch Soundbar with Dolby Audio / DTS Virtual:X (2020) - Black. The sound is great however the sound bar will turn itself on during the night even though it was shut off with our TV. Why is this happening?

- Answer Hi there! The Soundbar turns on by itself when another device connected to it tells it to. The solution depends on which device is causing the Soundbar to turn on. 1) For a Bluetooth source, press and hold the SOUND MODE button for 6 seconds while the Soundbar is on. Set it so that “OFF-BLUETOOTH POWER” appears on the display. 2) For an Optical source, press and hold the Left button for 6 seconds while the Soundbar is on. Set it so that “OFF-AUTO POWER LINK” appears on the display. 3) For an HDMI source, press and hold the Right button for 6 seconds while the Soundbar is on. Set it so that “OFF-ANYNET+” appears on the display. ^Patty

QuestionI have DISH Network. Will the Dish remote controller be able to control the volume of the sound bar?

- Answer Hi Yoman! The HW-T550 is compatible with a wide range of universal remotes. Check the manual of your existing remote for pairing instructions to a Samsung audio device. If the soundbar is connected to a TV supporting HDMI CEC, you can control the soundbar volume with the TV remote without the need to pair the remote to the soundbar. ^Tim

QuestionWhere can I listen to this soundbar before buying? It seems most best buys have many of the soundbars not working and Ive never seen this one on display. Ive never seen a sony on display to listen to that either. Id like to here a few of these in person

QuestionWondering if the hdmi output is audio only. I am interested in using either BlueRay player or computer to play DVD's thru my Epson projector and wanted a sound bar to play audio. Can I hook hdmi input and use hdmi output to projector for audio and video?

QuestionI just bought this.. Sound is great, but the wireless sub which is about 10 foot away from the soundbar will cut out for a second or two intermittently about once every couple minutes. Doesn't matter if it is from TV and bluetooth. Is there a fix?

- Answer YOu need to be sure that the sound bar is synced with the TV. Check the easy directions in the directions that came with the bar. YOu may have the sound set up incorrectly for your devices.

QuestionI have a UN65KS9000 TV. Just got the soundbar today. TV does not recognize it. You’d think, Samsung/Samsung...plug and go. Nope. After 2 hours with customer service - use the optical cable until a TV update is available. TV is less than 4 years old. Crazy
