“Does this microwave need to be vented? Can I install without a top vent?”

This question is for: Samsung - 2.1 Cu. Ft. Over-the-Range Microwave with Sensor Cook - Stainless Steel

NO - it does not HAVE to be vented - read the specs. I am having this installed today. It is convertible - meaning it can be installed in a way where the venting goes through the filter (which comes with it) and back into the room. OR, it can be vented. EITHER.

It says right in the Specs that it can be vented to the outside or inside through the Charcoal Filters provided.. It is just a matter of flipping the fan motor.. I've done it and it is very simple.. Hope this helps!!
