Will this work with LG tv model# 50 lB 5900 null

If your TV has an optical in/out or audio in/out port on the TV it should work. This only comes with an optical cord. The audio cord has to be purchased separately.

I don't know. I installed it on a Samsung 48" Smart TV. I specifically got a samsung soundbar so I knew it would be compatible.
