“Can this model operate without being connected to a water line? Currently we have no water line so we know the ice maker would not work which is fine, but we would like to have the option to run the line and connect it eventually.”

The fridge will cool and the freezer will work without being connected to a water line. But will not make ice which is why the water line is needed, for the ice maker. Excellent product so far.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello CMV99, the water line is only necessary if you are using the ice maker or water dispenser. I would make sure to turn the ice maker off if you are not connecting the water lines. ^Britt
