  • QuestionRF220NCTASR Cu Ft & WarrantyOn Samsung site it shows 21.8 cu ft and on Best Buy site shows 21.6 cu ft. Why the difference? Also on Best Buy, warranty shows 10 years for sealed parts. On Samsung site, 5 years for sealed.

    • Answer Hi Anne, The official capacity of the RF220NCTASR is 21.8 cu ft (14.8 cu ft Refrigerator; 7.0 cu ft Freezer). Some Samsung models do have different warranty terms, but for this model it's one year parts and labor; five years parts and labor on the sealed system which includes the Digital Inverter compressor, evaporator, condenser, drier, and connecting tubing. We are here to help you As per checking, The USDA states that refrigerated food should be kept below 40°F, and frozen food should be kept below 0°F. Keep your refrigerator and freezer at these temperatures to make sure your food remains fresh. You may set the temperatures higher only if you are not storing food in the refrigerator or freezer. In most models, the ideal temperature setting for the refrigerator is 38°F. For the freezer, the ideal temperature is -2°F.   • QuestionWater dispenser not workingJust bought the fridge and took a couple weeks to get the water hooked up. The water dispenser doesn't seem to be working. The ice maker is producing ice, so I presume my connections are ok. Is there on/off controls for the water dispenser? Is there an internal valve I need to open?     • Answer Hello. Thank you for reaching out regarding your Samsung - 21.8 Cu. Ft. French-Door Refrigerator if you can push the refrigerator flush up against the wall, or is some space required. Regarding your concern, you need to allow 2.5" of clearance on the hinge side of the refrigerator when installing next to a wall where the handle may make contact. Allow 1" minimum clearance at rear for proper air circulation and water/electrical connections. Allow a 3/8" minimum clearance at sides and top for ease of installation.
