“My brother has a 2017 Samsung French door model and after doing research it seems like Samsung has been known for faulty ice makers. What should I expect from this newer model? Did they resolve this issue? Would the warranty cover a faulty ice maker?”

This refrigerator works fine. Better than our 2015 ish model. I do not know about the warranty and haven’t had any problems so far. We didn’t have any problems with our last refrigerator though. My beef with my last one was the water dispenser dribbled after dispensing water.
