After about 6 months (and typically, about 300 gallons (1200L) of water), the filter indicator blinks red for several seconds when you open the door, reminding you that the filter needs to be replaced. The compatible water filter for your Samsung refrigerator with model number RF24R7201SR/AA is HAF-QIN Refrigerator Water Filter.
