Yes, I have noticed that also. The issue seems to occur when you let the computer shut all the way down, THEN turn the monitor off. I have found that if you actually power the monitor off WHILE the computer is shutting down, the monitor will actually power all the way off. Kind of a wonky work around, but it does the trick. I also have my computer set to power down when the computer power button is pressed. The other thing I have tried is to shut the monitor OFF while the computer is still fully on, THEN hit the computer power button and let it shut down without the monitor on, and that also seems to work. Not sure why this particular monitor does this, but I can live with it.
