• I'm so glad you asked! Yes, this model does use a removable internal water filter, model HAF-QIN. This filter will need to be replaced about every 6 months, depending on usage. I also have this link (https://bit.ly/2XqHRme) to steps on how to replace this filter. ^Jecca
