A:AnswerThis is the older model. The newer model includes WiFi and can connect with a SmartThings Hub and costs a lot more. Beyond that, I don't see any major differences.

A:AnswerWe have one, it's listed as a cooler, we store water and other drinks at drinkable temps, this also removes these drinks from your normal fridge space, we really like it. I thought it was weird at first as well
A:Answer"They are from two different product lines/series." By FeyBBY September 15, 2017.
That answer is not helpful. Both models appear to be from the SAME product line/series.
The only difference is the "R" is 28" deep vs 29" for the "G". Also the finish is different,
Stainless Steel for the "R", and Black Stainless Steel for the "G".
They look the same inside & out. Yet the "R" gets only 2.6 stars at Amazon (44% 1 star!),
and the "G" gets 4.5 stars here (???)
I just want to know if the "G" is an improved model, as it's virtually the same as the "R".
Otherwise, there's a glaring discrepancy between reviews, and makes me question
them. I trust Amazon.
A:AnswerIts barly audible, more like a water feature in the distance, actually found it soothing, fridges must make noise to move the refrigerant, most are a buzzing noise, I like this better
A:AnswerHi whichdridgetobuy, the flex zone has 4 settings. The warmest being 41 degrees is for chilling things, like soft drinks, or nonperishable items. I hope this information helps. ^Rosi
