Q: Diffirence between model numbers
A: This may have been the model from the previous year. Consumer Reports gave the model a not so stellar rating and Samsung went back and re-did the version for this year. It now has one of the best ratings that CR gives for this product.
A: If it has an anit-fingerprint coating as Mr. Samsung says, it has to be one of the worst. I have to constantly wipe my kids fingerprints off of it. That said, it is a very minor annoyance to me as I absolutely love almost everything else about it.
Q: What is the temperature range of the flex section?
A: The Flex Zone compartment in the RF23J9011SR can be set to Freeze (-8°F to 5°F); Soft Freeze (23°F); Chill (30°F); or Cool (41°F), for a full range of freezer and refrigerator settings. Thanks for your interest! - Ms. Samsung
A: The ice cubes are actually small, not large at all. They are, however, crescent, or half-moon shaped. You can turn on the crushed ice mode if you want to crush them. Noting will make them pop out looking like a star or turtle, though.
