The water line is a simple plug in. You don’t need a plumber. It is attached to the fridge. If you had a refrigerator with a water line before it is a quick swap. I did not pay for installation. My husband and I did it ourselves. In the beginning the water was not coming thetough but there is a shelf /plate on the bottom front where the connection is. 3 screws (literally where your foot will hit the fridge. Take them out. Then disconnect the hose where the blue plug is. Some water will run out. Then re connection the hose at that juncture very tightly. Maybe to get the air out of it. And it should work.
