“Can you please tell me if the black stainless steel is a coating/film or an actual color. In other words, if it got dinged would I see stainless steel underneath? Does fridge hold magnets? How durable is the black stainless to scratches?”

The front will scratch fairly easily. Hold magnets like a champ! Seems to be the actual color. The sides are painted black though,
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It is a coating/film, so you would see stainless. Our handle was scratched during delivery. Had to have it replaced. It does hold magnets. Finally, we've had it for a month or so now and I haven't seen any scratches show up; so it seems durable thus far.
