- Answer Hi Lindamac, No, It does not include a power cord in the box. We recommend using a 12-2 cable with ground and a BX-style metal jacket, as local codes require. - Answer Hey Amy, We purchased this dishwasher in January 8th for our new home and while I haven't seen anything that says its smudge proof it certainly seems that way. We have 2 small children and barely have any fingertips and when when do see anything, very easy too wipe away. Hope this was helpful
