“I had this installed today and the door does not open flat. It springs back up several inches so when the bottom tray is pulled out and empty it’s not flat also making it hard to load dishes. Is this normal?”

Yes, it took me awhile to get accustomed to this. I found that pulling the rack out just a little bit further gave it enough weight to keep the door flat while loading. Just as an FYI, I didn’t think I would care about the automatic open at end of cycle but it’s really nice!
