You can plug in your Dish Network box to this TV - It has two HDMI ports on it. It also has the RCA/RCA type ports to plug in the tri-colored cables used on older TVs (like I have a Samsung DVD player attached to the TV using a tri-colored cable (red, yellow and white tips). Hope this helps!
