Yes. But your resolution can only be set to 1680 x 1050 maximum. Preferable to 1366 x 768.

I have been using this as a second monitor. It really depends on what your doing with it. For every day use its fine. If your deep into Photoshop spend the money on a wide screen monitor.

You could, however the highest resolution this model will support is 720p.
