“Any experience using this as a computer monitor w/ iPad Mini? I am considering purchasing this for my daughter's dorm room. Given space constraints I wanted to hear any experiences, good or bad, to see if it would work well enough for the occasional use as a computer monitor. I know there are differences between the two and that I may need a special cable to connect directly for better performance, but is this a workable solution or just go with 2 separate pieces of equipment?”

• I actually use this TV as a monitor for a desktop PC. As long as you have the proper HDMI cable, it should be fine. I also have satellite hooked up, and use the SmartHub to watch Netflix and Hulu. It is multi-functional for me.
