No need for a converter box with this TV. Buy a new antenna and hook it right up! Easy! This TV is 'SMART' capable so you set up the TV to connect to WiFi, log in to Netflix through the TV and you are ready to go!

You don't need to use your computer for Netflix, the tv is a smart tv and is wireless. All you need for netflix or Amazon prime is wi-fi. Hope this helps it is a sharp little tv.

The TV itself can stream Netflix, Hulu and several of the other OnLine network applications without connecting to your computer, so long as the network you connect to has enough bandwidth. The setup and usage are simple using the Source buttons on the remote along with the Samsung Apps button. I use this TV on my boat and can get streaming on Netflix so long as all the other boater/campers are not hogging the free local network as well. I would have this issue using my laptop as well The power is 110ac. About the only real thing I wish it did have was the ability to be run using 12volts since I use this on a boat. This would allow me to use it without an additional power converter. Overall, it is a really nice TV for boating and camping. It has more than enough connections for all your devices.
