The cutout height under the kitchen counter is 33", but if we remove overhanging tiles (eventually we are going to remodel the countertops anyway) we could get a 34" height. Do you think we can get this Samsung DMT300RFB/XAA dishwasher to fit in there? We really want to buy this model but we're having second thoughts about this.”

Careful on your choice for a dishwasher. We bought the Samsung you like but tore it out because it was loud, didn't clean prerinsed dishes, didn't dry the dishes well, and the cycle times are up to 3 hours. Took it back to Bestbuy and told them to get us another one.

If you intend to use the top-mount brackets, you'll need a minimum opening of 34-1/4".
