Samsung uses a fan-driven condensation drying system and air vents to dry the dishes, rather than a heated drying system which would use more energy. Thanks for the question! - Ms. Samsung
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't know!!! I have owned this dishwasher for a week now, I've used it numerous times, and my dishes and glasses come out so clean they are actually spotless! I was worried about that feature that said "NO HEATED DRYING" as well. I don't understand this, because my dishes are warm when I take them out - and they are very clean and VERY DRY! So, even though the sales people at Best Buy said it does not have heated drying, I don't understand this. This dishwasher works great, and there's no way I'm sending it back!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The 'sanitize' option raises the temp of the washer to over 165F. This aids in the drying of the dishes, but isn't enough to melt plastic like the tradtional heating element in some dishwashers.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't know, but trust me---it does not dry the dishes! Don't buy this dishwasher!
