“Does the DMT800 have additional options/flexibility for adjusting the lower level tines than the DMT400? I've seen the DMT400 in person and noticed that you could remove the one set of tines on the lower level, but everything else was fixed. On an older & higher end Samsung model, there were more options for adjusting the tines. Does the DMT800 also have those additional options?”

On the bottom rack you can fold down an entire ROW of tines. It comes in 2 sections so you can leave half up and half down or lower both sections. However, that is the only option regarding the tines on the bottom rack. The top RACK has the ability to move the tines wider or narrow depending on need\use. I hope that helps! I love this thing.
