Yes as well as the dishes coming out dirtier than when put in the dishwasher. This is the worse dishwasher to have. We bought it in January and have been fighting with Samsung officiality for the last 3 months for them to fix it but they send a technician and doesn't fix anything. I called Best But coorporate not regular costumer service and complained and asked them to help me to deal with Samsung. Maybe if more people will call them they will take this product out of the shelves. It belongs in the trash.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We purchased a Samsung dishwasher and noticed the same odor and fortunately since we had it for only 2 weeks was able to exchange and we chose a LG. We have a Samsung stove and are very happy with it and also plan to purchase a Samsung frig . Samsung needs to work on their dishwashers to make a better product.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. Our odor is more of an old wet towel smell. Slime builds up regardless of the advice to use a rinse agent... That has to start stinking.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Thanks for the question. Since the parts that go into making the Dishwasher have virtually no odor themselves, I would suggest following the procedures recommended in the manual for deodorizing the DW80F600UTS, but also checking installation to ensure the drain hose is routed in such a way as to prevent backwash of dirty water back into the tub. For the drain to operate properly, the dishwasher should be installed within 9.8 ft of the sink. Pages 18-19 of the full Installation Guide (which can be downloaded as a pdf file from Samsung's website) detail installing the drain hose with or without an air gap; either way, be sure the middle section of the hose is elevated at least 30" above the floor, and at a higher level than the connection to the drain pipe to prevent backwash. To remove the odor that's already present, run a Sanitize cycle, following instructions on pages 20-21 of the User Manual. It's also a good idea to wipe down the interior walls, doors and the especially the sides and bottom edge of the door where it seals since this area isn't reached during the dishwasher cycle. I hope these suggestions help to remove the odor and prevent it from recurring. - Ms. Samsung
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, we did. Othis dishwasher has a reservoir on the side that is used to filter and recirculate water. This gets full very frequently. We noticed the foul smell within a month of having it. Technicians informed us that the problem was a full reservoir. Redardless of "fixing" that issue, the dishes never smelled or felt clean. We eventually exchanged the dishwasher for a whirlpool.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, before I bought Jet dry turbo rinse aid I had the same problem. After I bought jet dry turbo all my problems went away my machine is working fantastic, both my dishes and my dishwasher are completely dry after the cycle
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have had a Samsung dishwasher for over a year and experienced absolutely no problem. I would recommend washing it with vinegar and let it run a cycle on Sanitize.
