“Are the racks plastic or metal? I have another brand with metal racks that were plastic coated and are rusting after only a few years. If these are the same what is the Samsung warranty against this problem?”

Greetings! We are happy to answer your question about the racks of this Samsung dishwasher model. The racks are metal that are nylon-coated. The limited warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship encountered in a normal household and noncommercial use of this product. Cosmetic damage caused by the use of equipment is not covered. I have shared this model's user manual link below.
