• Hi Lita! The handles don't come attached upon arrival, they come packed inside the fridge. ^Penny

• Ours did. In fact, they removed our kitchen screen door and the door to get enough clearance. FYI, ours came with the door handles disassembled so they didn't have to take it off, they simply assembled it once the unit was in place.

• The handles were not attached when delivered. They were packed for shipping and stored inside the fridge.
