The listed depth is from the back of the unit to the front including handles.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The 35.6" measurement of the RF261BEAESP includes the handles. The depth from the back of the Refrigerator to the front of the case (without the doors) is 29-1/4"; the depth with the doors but without the handles is 33-1/4". Samsung recommends leaving at least an inch behind the unit (in addition to 3/8" on the top and sides) for air circulation. Thanks for your interest! Ms. Samsung
