• Automatic, no doubt about it.. There are no fridges in this price range that would have manual defrost.. Maybe you were reading about the ice maker.. But even that is somewhat automated (as far as ice making goes, dispensing is manual: you have to reach into the freezer and scoop the ice cubes out yourself..)
