• Samsung crap, yes it scratches by siding virtually any magnet across the doors! Had mine 3 months now, looks like it is a few years old. Tgis is from sliding simple magnets. Take a few different magnets to try out on their display models so no one else buys this.

• no, I would be careful because they scratched the surface of our stainless steel fridge.
