“Fridge protrudes way too far past base cabinets for my linking. AWKWARD. Does anyone else have a problem w /the fridge sticking extremely far out past your cabinets ? That extra 3" just makes it extremely awkward because it juts out into the room so far. Mine is up against a wall and I just don't like how it protrudes.”

It seems ok to me. The price pay, so to speak, to keep from having it spread out, side to side, and not fit your kitchen.

Some customers who don't want the refrigerator to protrude from the cabinets and are unable to recess it for a built-in appearance have decided to go with a counter depth model like the RSG257AARS which offers 24 cubic feet of storage in the shallower depth compared to the 26 cubic feet in the model you selected.
