- I investigated and read reviews by previous buyers before purchasing and chose this Samsung Side-By-Side over french door and bottom freezer designs (including other manufacturer). - Ample space in both refrigerator and freezer, glass shelves and plastic bins. Well lighted with LEDs. No more issues of food items falling behind shelves or bins. Spills contained. Easy to clean. - Freezer: Ice maker in freezer door adds more storage space. Buy online an additional freezer shelf for better utility laying items flat or small containers. Freezer drawers are bonus to hold items lended to freezer burn (meats, cheeses, breads) and smaller items. - Really like dual cooling with separate systems running freezer and refrigerator. Must READ manual to learn operation of cooling systems and monitor temperature ranges for kitchen. - Refrigerator: Good adjustable shelves to accommodate food item height, but should be pull out to reach back items. "Wine rack" good for all bottled products (soda, juices, tall-weird shaped) and can tuck small, flat items underneath. LED lighting doesn't go all the way down to bins. In-depth butter/diary upper shelf. Door shelves adequate to fit all needs. Great bins, 3 total, one for meat/cheeses, one for cool climate veggies, and one for fruit or warm-climate veggies. Front In-door control panel & water/ice dispensers: Must READ manual to learn how to operate. Water dispenser is installed pointing towards the rear for easier filling of glasses but not ideal for filling pitchers, coffee pots and/or tea kettles. Water does not turn off causing spills down front and difficult to wipe down. Recommend switching back to ice after using water to prevent inadvertent spills. Front: Stainless-steel platinum holds magnets AND water stains, fingerprints & streaks. A cleaning nightmare -- use micro cloths or magic erasers with "elbow grease". Water filter (expensive) is located at bottom for easier re-placement.

Great product. A little pricy but worth it. I like the design of the fridge.it fits a bunch of stuff. I would highly recommend this product to all the families out there with kids. Food stays nice and cold and the refrigerator is energy efficient. The value is definitely there for the price. A lot if freezer space as well which is nice when you are stocking up. Not sure what else I can say. It's a really good value and I do recommend this item.

This is actually a nice refrigerator. But, the ice maker is horrible. Cubed ice comes out crushed. It backs up a lot. And, the inside of it has a lot of built up frost- which probably clogs it. I have reset it, called customer service, but no avail. There was some complaints about the icemaker that I read in reviews. I should have listened. Also, a week after I got the refrigerator, I was cleaning the door with a soft cloth and stainless steel polish. The cloth caught the "S" on the Samsung decal, and took the "S" off. I called for a new "S," or a whole new sticker set. Samsung said, "no way, that is a cosmetic thing." To come out and fix it, they would have charged me for a service call. I just need an 'S!' And, it was only a week old! So, the fridge looks dorky as an "AMSUNG." I actually called again about the sticker and they still said no. So, instead of buying an Amsung stove and microwave to match, I recently bought both Whirlpool. Samsung lost our continued business over a sticker?????? Of an S!!! Not recommended! One more thing- the top shelf is low, you will not be able to fit 2 liters or gallons of milk on ANY of the shelves, so keep the shelves on the door clear! Kinda odd, really.

Going by all the reviews for this fridge, I was pretty torn as to which one to buy. I went with this one, because having researched fridges (of all companies) for a month, and gone to all kinds of websites for reviews, etc, this particular model was coming up as better than the rest. I've had this fridge for about four months now and am very happy with it. It's very quiet, efficient, well designed on the inside (shelves, etc), and looks good! The only thing that's not 100% perfect is the ice dispenser. It just takes some getting used to....initially, ice was falling out of our glasses, onto the floor, whenever we tried to dispense some ice. However, with a little bit of practice, we learned to hold the glass right up into the dispenser, leaving no room for falling ice on the sides. We don't use huge amounts of ice, so I can't comment on the speed of the ice maker. Some people may like to take note of the side panelling of the fridge, which is grey (not the normal black), which I think blends much better with the rest of our kitchen. The delivery service itself from Best Buy was flawless. All in all, a great purchase! I will update this review if anything changes.

I can't say enough good things about this refrigerator. I love it. It easily fits all my groceries and has room to spare. the on door temperature controls make it so easy to set and keep things good and chilled/frozen. its quiet and you barely even know its on. It does get fingerprints easily but that's not a big deal. Just wipe it down with a damp cloth and you're good to go!

overall I really like this refrigerator, I love the built in wine rack and the filtered water is some of the best water I've ever tasted, the ice maker could have been designed better, sometimes it just doesn't want to work right.

I specifically chose this refrigerator because of the in door ice maker which frees up a lot of space in the freezer for other items. Within a week after delivery, the ice dispenser jammed multiple times from a build up. Factory defect, dispenser not closing all the way, so air would get in causing ice to melt some, therefore causing it to jam. Geek squad was quick in coming out to fix it, actually replaced the part, but now it won't dispense ice cubes, only crushed, so I'm going to have to call them again. Love the frig side, see thru drawers are great, wine/bottle rack is new to me and love it.

It is a great looking refrigerator with plenty of inside space in the refrigerator and the freezer with an easy water and ice dispenser (a must); the ice maker is designed to be in the freezer door allowing more space in the freezer side and the inside LED lighting is really cool along with the digital display on the door letting you know what is going on in both the refrigerator side and the freezer side.

Couldn't be happier with the product. Runs so quiet, you hardly know its operating. A big reduction in electrical costs, but that is not suprising as it replaced a 15 year old model. Food stays great in the bins, lighting is wonderful and there is place for everything. Shelving, bins and other storage areas well thought out and designed. Buy one now before they're all gone :)

Samsung side by side fridge has been a solid performer for the last 3 1/2 years. At 25.5 cubic feet, It has plenty of space with adjustable shelves. We have had zero mechanical or electrical issues, the only knock on the unit is that the model does not have a water catch under the dispenser. This leads to water running down the face of the fridge and "streaking" it. Had Samsung designed a better tray/catch, this unit would have been rated at 4.5 stars.

I am pleased overall with this product. Icemaker is compact on the door giving more freezer space, but it makes ice very slow and is noisy when filling with water. Once the ice storage is full, it has been sufficient at providing ice for our family of 4. Has a nice look and seems to be well made. Wife loves the wine rack!

Pleased with the refrigerator over all. Big improvement over the old one we had. I have been checking the temperature with separate thermometers in freezer and refrigerator and they are staying constant. Ice dispenser started out OK. After 3 weeks, now crushed ice dispenses with the cubed ice. The unit jammed already, not a huge deal as I had read other reports about the same issue. We do not use it that much, but it is annoying nonetheless. Overall a good purchase.

very good value for the price - family of 5 - great lighting, layout/size very adaptable, seems sturdy, like freezer shelves (not wire) shelves - both the unit and the ice maker are loud as was indicated by other reviews - and no water is not cold - decided to deal with these vs going to higher end more costly model. Inspect carefully - had two delivered with scratches / dents - cant comment on long term as we have only owned for a month.

The crushed ice comes out in a scattered pattern that causes ice to fly everywhere even though a glass is held as close as possible to the source. This is a minor inconvenience, but, still is not what I expected. There is also not a drain under this feature which may require you to do extra wiping of the door when the ice goes flying. I still like the looks of this item and the room in both the refrigerator and freezer sections.

This is a great looking fridge! I am glad I bought the side by side instead of the french door because there is much more room. What I dont like is the shelving. You dont really have that many choices to adjust the shelf height. Your stuck with what they give you. Other than that it has been a great fridge so far.

Great fridge! Love the space inside including the drawers. Freezer has lots of room compared to our previous fridge that had a bottom freezer. HATE that crushed ice makes such a mess. Removing ice bin is also extremely messy. Also needs a tray to catch water

I was hesitant to buy a Samsung refrigerator due to all of the complaints I have seen posted (mostly about the ice maker freezing up), but we have a Samsung dishwasher and gas stove and have had no problems with those appliances. I was able to purchase this product as an open box, and paid half the full retail cost for it; a bargain I just couldn't pass up. We have had the refrigerator for just a month now, but sofar have had not a single problem. Fingerprints show instantly, which is expected of a stainless steel finish. We have had to reconfigure how we store items, due to the shelf arrangement possibilities, but the door storage does hold all of the taller containers. It is also very quiet!

We have only had this for a few weeks, but absolutely love it! We were warned we would not like side by side, but it seems to fit everything so much better than bottom freezer. We buy a lot of bulk and the drawer freezer would just be a pain to organize and find anything. Whilie we didn't want ice/water, it is one of our favorite items! As you may have heard, stainless attracts fingerprints so it is tough to keep that shiny clean gleem it has the day it was installed. We used to be Sony only, but Samsung is winning us over-first our TV on now the fridge. The unit is so quiet, you barely hear it running! The price was the lowest by a mile when install was factored in. Highly recommended, so far...

I would recommend this refrigerator. It is very attractive. The hinges are a little big for my small space. The inside is huge. It seems to be energy efficient. I like the drawers they are placed well and are are the right size. Ice maker is slow and small. The freezer is nicely sized and well organized.

This unit works great, and the features and controls are easy to use. I only have had it for a short time, but so far so good. Things stay crisp where needed, and cool where wanted. Placement of food is important. Quite, and good looking.
