• Neither. I cannot trust Samsung refrigerators of any kind with our experience.

• Given your criteria, the RS261MDBP is not only the best option currently available, it's also the only option. Samsung does have several other black side-by-side models, including the RS263TDBP and RS265TDBP, but the addition of the Twin Cooling system, enhanced LED lighting and other features make them slightly more expensive.
