Q: QuestionWhat is the water supply line size for this refrigerator? I need to purchase the correct size and install it before it arrives. Its my first time setup with a ice/water dispenser, thank you!

• A:Answer It’s a 1/4 inch. Also double check the size on your house supply line as well. Most homes(at least in what I’ve lived in) have had 1/4 inch fittings as well, but the new house I just moved into has a 3/8 fitting on the water supply line so I went and bought an adapted to change it back to the 1/4 inch. I just installed mine last week!

Q: QuestionWhy would you have to turn off the water line to change the filter? Can you change the filter without shutting the water line? We had another Samsung and we just changed the filter without shutting anything off.?
