Hey WeberGuy! The refrigerator does have an internal reservoir that holds about a quart of water, or approximately 2 - 4 glasses. If the water from the dispenser is not cold, the cold water in the refrigerator's reservoir has been used up, or the water has not had time to cool. It is also important to note that during the summer months, water enters the fridge at a higher temperature. This increases the time it takes to cool down. ^Jecca
