“Does the Black Stainless Steel Scratch easily? We don't have kids but do have little dogs that like to jump.... so need to know if the black stainless scratches easily prior to us purchasing this product. I will go with regular stainless if so.”

Yes it is more fragile than regular stainless steel. They simply put some black coating over the stainless steel. It is almost like putting a coating over hard wood floors. We put a fridge magnet on the fridge and it left a scratch. So be careful.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes! We have had ours for 6 months and it looks like we have had it for 20 years. Scratches and dents all over it! Don’t buy this fridge unless you don’t plan to touch the outside.
