Got this fridge today. Freezer started at 88 degrees and now it's in the high 60s 13 hours later. Documentation states 24 hours is required, but it's moving too slow. is this normal or am I missing a button/setting somewhere? null

it's working great now. I had to unplug it and plug it back in to power cycle it, but when I woke up the next morning, it was fine. Great refrigerator so far

My freezer took over 48 hours. I think it takes longer in the summer months. I was about to call customer service after waiting 2 days and woke up the next morning and it was ice cold.

No this is not normal and if you use the power freeze it should not take more than couple of hours. I got my down in 3 hours
Use the touch screen to go to the power freeze setting

Check and see if it's in demo mode. The manual shows you how to look. Mine cooled down to temp within about 3 hours or less I think (though I did load food back in it too which helped).

Yeah we bought one, had it delivered and the freezer and middle drawer zone still wasn’t functioning 5 hours later. The lighted control went out within seconds of applying power. Plugged and unplugged several times didn’t alter it. I asked that it be picked up without replacement and my account credited. Hearing more and more stories similar to this from others. Seems to be systemic so will be holding off buying a Samsung until I’m comfortable that they’ve fixed the issue. Very disappointed.

Did you check the temperature setting inside? It shows the current temp, but also shows what it is set at. If you hold the bottom (door alarm) button for 3 seconds, it unlocks. Push the fridge temp and see if the setting is different than the actual temp. Same for freezer. However, that setting doesn't even seem within the range, and mine was at temp within a few hours.
