A:AnswerThat would be a different refrigerator with a different model number....... they probably have one or something comparable if you browse the site.
A:AnswerI don't believe you can. I asked the geek squad and received that answer. If you have an issue with it need to be cleaned or defrosted, it would be difficult to deal with.
I switched from another model at the last minute and didn't notice this fault.
A:AnswerI'm not a plumber, but do won this unit I don't know where this would be installed or how. The ice maker is actually located in the refrigerator portion of the unit (so that it can come out of the door). Maybe you could mount one in the bottom freezer but I doubt it. It does generate plenty of ice, so you could always keep a spare bag if you are worried about running out.
A:AnswerHi Steve, in the user manual http://downloadcenter.samsung.com/content/UM/201606/20160609164959602/DA68-03029A_08_USER_MANUAL_AA_AW2.pdf on page 11, it will show you how to remove the doors. ^Rosi
A:AnswerBelieve it or not, most new refrigerators can be ordered in a counter depth style but will always be more expensive than the standard models. Samsung does offer counter depth similar to this larger capacity model
I suggest going to Best Buy and speak with someone in the appliance department, as they will be able to tell you what is available at the moment. I initially was going to get one but elected to go with a higher capacity and not be concerned with it fitting flush in a cabinet. It still looks great and holds a lot more items.
A:AnswerI don't think it is the style or energy efficiency that makes the fridge last a shorter time than fridges made in the last 20 years. Its because all appliances are engineered to last 7-10 years with plastic parts etc., according to an appliance repairman I knew. All appliances used to last longer because they were made to do so and with stronger metal parts. I would buy the style of refridgerator you like from a company with good reviews and a strong reliability record, and just hope for the best, but know that it is unlikely anything you buy will last 20 years.
A:AnswerWe have not experienced that problem with ours. We are very pleased with our purchase. The easy access is what caught our eye immediately and we find that's a great feature.
