A:AnswerThe filter is in the crisper drawer turn it counter clockwise pull it out and replace it with the rubber gaskets going back in first lock cover back in place clockwise. Run two gallons of water before drinking and your ready to go enjoy!!

Other than the standard plastic and styrofoam on the outside, there is some tape to keep the doors secured and styrofoam for support on the inside.
