Can we get this WITHOUT the icemaker? null

I don't think so, but you do not have to connect it. I chose not to connect the water line and I use the bin to store ice I make with ice cube trays. It's handy.

I don't understand why this is so difficult. I want a refrigerator with MAXIMUM internal space. I don't want either an icemaker or a water dispenser taking up room. Accordingly, I ask: Can I get this refrigerator with NO ice-making or water-siapensing facilities whatsoever?

I have the same issue. My water source is a well with a very high iron content. Even with two (2) filters on the well, we still use a filter pitcher to remove the rest of the iron. As the well filters fill up (max 3 weeks), the iron starts to come through. Even the pitcher can't remove all of the iron. This will become an issue for the refrigerator. I called Samsung to see if I could buy this refrigerator without the ice maker. The representative was very polite and did a lot of checking. He finally said that he didn't think this model was available without the ice maker. He apologized and suggested that I turn off the ice maker. In retrospect, I should have asked if it can be removed.

All I want is side by side refrigerator with all my freezer space being used for food. If I need water I will use the faucet, having those 2 items means spending more money in the end because you have to buy and change filters. Consumers are being strong armed yet again.

I want it completely GONE so that I can use the space for actual food. I know I can disconnect it. Duh.
