Production date on Samsung refrigerator I purchased was September 22. I opted not to connect ice maker due to previous models having issues - that have reportedly since been corrected. I just fill ice hopper from ice trays which isn't a big deal for me. So far (after 1 mo) refrigerator works fine. Simple clean design with Plenty of volume!
