How are the black levels on this monitor? I just decided to return my Benq EL2870U because I wanted something for video editing on a budget and that monitor had very awful black levels and was basically unusable for me. I just need average blacks, can it? null

Varies depending upon the source it's connected to and the source material. If connected to a PS4 or Xbox 1 and you're watching Blu-Ray for example, blacks can be rich & deep (almost OLED black......ALMOST) esp. with the cinema setting on.
