• No it will not. No speakers on the monitor itself. You would have to have the audio coming form the laptop itself in the SOund Settings.

• The speaker does not have built in speakers. But it does have an audio jack. So if you plug in head phones or speakers with an audio jack, they will play sound.

• It does not have a built in speaker. You can plug a speaker into it and it will play sound from the laptop over the HDMI cable.

• Yes it does. With a little explanation. It has a stereo audio-out (3.5mm) jack at the back, which can be connected to external powered speakers. The sound signal comes via the HDMI into the monitor, and then out this audio port. I use this all the time.

• While I haven’t actually used it that way, it does register as an audio device. So, I don’t see why it wouldn’t work.
